Kelly Chessor is a Florida native, born February 3, 1961. Although Kelly has never seen a Skunk Ape, his illustrations are based on eyewitness accounts. As far back as elementary school in Fruitville, Florida he can vividly recall countless stories and descriptions of what the local children called the "Boogey Man". Kelly has spent years honing his skills as a sketch artist. The illustrations on this site give valuable insight into Skunk Ape behavior and anatomy. Kelly is also an accomplished sculptor who’s life like, one of a kind creations have appeared on network television and several news publications.
